This 33-year-old childcare provider and mother of two came to my office to address her concerns with the shape of her breasts. She was unhappy with the way her breasts look because she felt that they looked disproportionate to her body frame and she just did not feel fully a woman because her clothes were not fitting like they should. She had been thinking about the procedure for quite some time, but had waited to look into her options for Washington, DC plastic surgeons until her children were old enough not to be mommy's lap all of the time, so that she could heal with a smooth transition.

After hearing her concerns and completing an examination, I suggested to the patient that she undergo a bilateral breast augmentation procedure. This would increase her fullness, give her a more contoured appearance and allow her clothing to fit more proportionately. After answering several questions and trying on different sizers, she agreed to receive smooth, round silicone-gel implants in her surgery.

Recovery for this patient went very well. She experienced minimal downtime and was able to work hands-on with her children within just a week of her breast augmentation procedure near Washington, DC.
