Maryland Plastic Surgery Photo Gallery

This is a 40-year-old patient that came to the office from La Plata, Maryland.  This patient had a concern about her current bust size and was seeking a a surgeon to perform a Maryland breast enhancement.  She shared that she currently wore a 34 A bra and would like to become a full C.  She stated that she just simply did not like how she fit in her clothing.  She felt that her current figure simply did not flatter anything she wore, whether it was her business attire or her weekend dress.  She wanted to fell shapelier in her bust area so that her clothes would fit and look better.

 Well, after speaking with this patient and performing a medical evaluation, I recommended that she consider having a breast augmentation.  After discussion, I found out that the patient was a smoker, so she was advised that she needed to stop smoking at least two weeks prior to her surgical procedure.  I also advised this patient that she was slightly asymmetric, and she would need a slight lift (mastopexy) on her left side.  I also recommended that she go with a Smooth Round High Profile Silicone implant.  The patient was comfortable with the size 250cc implants.  I placed an incision into the inframammary fold (under the breast) and placed the implant into the subglandular pocket (on top the muscle).  To correct the asymmetry, the nipple was repositioned on both sides and asymmetry was ensured before incisions were closed.  Patient tolerated the procedure very well.

 Postoperatively, the patient was recovering smoothly.  She was instructed to continue to follow her post operative instructions.  The patient had no complaints.  She is very pleased with the outcome.  She feels that she is the perfect size and feels more comfortable in her clothing. She says that she would do it again to feel like she does now.
