This 51-year-old patient came to our office through her world travel. The patient is a proud service member to our country and was in the DC Metro area for leave.  She was in search for a Washington DC cosmetic surgeon that could help her improve several aspects of her body. She had been in the heart of danger for several years, and wanted to take the time to invest in herself. One of the areas that concerned her most was the appearence of her breast.  She was a mother and felt that her figure has just not been that same,  even though her child bearing years were approximately 20 years ago. She decided that she was ready to make a change.

 After hearing her concerns, I recommended that she consider having a breast augmentation with saline implants. I recommended this type of  augmentation because she had breast tissue and had lost the fullness in the upper portion of her breast and I felt this surgery would meet her goals. She tried different size implants on and finally decided that a 300cc implant would give her the look that she desired.

 Postoperatively, the patient recovered in good fashion. She continued to contour well and incisions healed positively. Scarring was minimal and her recovery was speedy. She states that she is very happy with her new image. She knows that now when she goes to the gym she will feel confident that she has accomplished her goals and is keeping her new shape in tact.   Her decision to have a Washington DC breast augmentation was one that she has yet to regret.
