Maryland Plastic Surgery Photo Gallery

This is a 54-year-old patient from the Southern Maryland area who came to my plastic surgery office seeking correction of her breasts that had lost their youthful look. Her main concern was the droopy appearance of her breasts, not their size, which made her feel self-conscious both in and out of clothing. Many of my Maryland plastic surgery patients become dissatisfied with their breast appearance because of pregnancy and nursing, or significant weight loss.

During her Maryland breast enhancement consultation and examination, I recommended a mastopexy (breast lift) to remove the excess breast skin and reposition her areolas, as well as breast augmentation to restore breast volume. The patient chose small implants so that her cup size would not be increased, but her breasts would look more youthful. Like with breast reduction plastic surgery in Maryland, I performed the lift by making an incision around the areola, straight down, and into the fold of the breast. This allowed me to make a pocket under the chest muscle for the breast implants, as well as remove the excess sagging skin.

After her cosmetic surgery procedure, the patient remained the same cup size but I was able to rejuvenate her breast appearance and reduce the amount of sagging skin. She experienced favorable results, including minimal scarring and excellent breast shape. I was happy to help this patient on the road to a more beautiful and confident self.
