This 41-year-old nurse from Waldorf, MD came my offices to correct the excess fat on her arms. She wanted to know whether cosmetic surgery in Maryland could reshape the bothersome excess fat and skin on her arms so she could wear the clothes she wanted without feeling self-conscious. I met with the patient and discussed her concerns about her arms. She expressed a strong desire to give her arms a thinner shape which would look more proportional to the rest of her body. In my examination I found that even though she had some excess fat, her skin elasticity was very good. This was a good sign because it made her a good candidate for liposuction, which I felt would be the best answer to her needs. We talked over her options and she agreed that liposuction was what she wanted. After a quick recovery, she was very happy with the contour of her slimmer arms. She tells me she now feels confident to wear tank tops without worrying about her arms, and was very pleased to see that her liposuction in Maryland met her needs in a matter of weeks!
