Maryland Plastic Surgery Photo Gallery

This patient, a 77-year-old female, came to the office from Fenwick Island, Delaware, a far distance from my usual Washington, D.C. and Maryland face lift patients. She had felt for some time that her physical appearance was fading and that she was ready for a facial rejuvenation. Her eyes always appeared tired and her facial skin seemed to sag and create a complexion that made her look older than she was. Of course, looking like a 30-year-old just wasn’t possible. Maintaining realistic expectations, she did want to look like a refreshed, gracefully aging adult.

After listening to her concerns, I suggested that she consider having both lower and upper blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery) and rhytidectomy (face lift). Maryland plastic surgery patients have great results with these joint procedures, correcting the appearance of “tired” eyes and sagging facial skin. After the eyelid surgery, I focused on the facelift procedure, performing liposuction and tightening the muscles in the neck region. I then made incisions near the hairline so that I could tighten and remove excess skin, resulting in a firmer and more rejuvenated appearance.  

Following her Maryland face lift, the patient healed extremely well. She had minimal draining, scarring, and bruising. The patient was very satisfied with her results. When people look at her now, they compliment her on how wonderful she looks for her age and marvel at how she was able to age so gracefully.
