Breast Augmentation Maryland – About the Procedure
If you’re contemplating a breast augmentation, Maryland women can receive a shapelier figure and more self confidence. Many women choose breast implants, also called augmentation mammoplasty, to increase the size of their breasts. Some patients are small breasted genetically while others have lost fullness and cup-size due to childbearing, weight loss or aging. Whatever the reason, patients report a very high satisfactory rate after their surgery. Individuals from Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC choose Bella Cosmetic Surgery.
During this procedure, our surgeon Michael Chiaramonte, MD, FACS will make an incision in one of three locations – beneath the breast in the folded crease, around the nipple/areola or via the armpit region. All of these locations are chosen because scarring will be well hidden. A pocket is made between your glandular tissue, muscles and connective tissue so that the saline or silicone breast implants can be inserted. The breast implants are placed beneath the chest muscle or above the muscle and directly beneath the tissue. The incision will then be closed with sutures by Dr. Chiaramonte. This is an outpatient surgery which means that patients are able to go home on the same day as their breast augmentation.
After receiving a breast augmentation, Maryland women often report a new level of self-esteem. They are able to wear swimsuits, fitted and low-cut blouses with confidence. They may also note that having breast implants causes their entire figure to appear proportionate and more feminine. If you are interested in a breast augmentation, Maryland residents can make an appointment for a consultation to learn more.
Women who are interested in a breast augmentation can elect other procedures in combination such as a tummy tuck or liposuction. Maryland, Northern Virginia, and Washington D.C. women can trust the professional staff at Bella Cosmetic Surgery.
